Desky Dual Sit Stand Desk Frame

I bought the Desky dual frame, and cut my own desktop for it out of brown acacia wood. I am super-happy with the result. It looks and feels great.

The Desky frame is surprisingly solid, and assembly was simple. Highly recommended.

I saved a bit by making my own tabletop from a hardware store 2400x900 panel, cut down to 2400x750 and finished with a chamfered edge and a beautiful hardwax oil. I had planned to go cheap so I could cut it down over time or replace or get rid of it as I moved around, but I accidentally put too much love in so we'll see.

Assembly of the desk was straightforward.

I connected the desk control to home assistant with the bluetooth connection and some software on github.

The monitors do not wobble at all at my standing height ~110cm and support my weight well if I was to lean into the desk. This was super important to me. At maximum extension I can make them wobble but maximum extension is just used for a joke.

Here's hoping these desk legs are useful to me for decades to come.

I used an acacia wood bench top, 2400x900x33, which is a solid top. With 4 monitors, 3 of which are 34inch ultrawide's and the tower mounted underneath, this desk is smooth and very stable. There's absolutely no wobble at max height. I was slightly concerned about performance with so much weight strapped to the desk but it's nearly as fast as when it was empty. Installation and set-up was a breeze. I genuinely couldn't be happier with my purchase. Also huge shout out to Brett, if you ever need help he's the guy to reach out to, he went above and beyond to accommodate the postal issues (Auspost being Auspost, not Desky's fault) and helped with my inquiries.

Honestly, after having to put together many different items for my new office, this one was a pleasure. Clear and simple instructions, well built, and worked perfectly. More than 5 stars.

I bought the Desky electric desk and am using it as a cutting table. It will enable me to sit or stand to cut. Also I can add a sewing machine and use it as an additional sewing space.

Easier to assemble than I expected and gives me plenty of variety on how I want to sit/stand at my desk. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a new desk.
